Dustin Penner racked his brain trying to figure out how he set up the Kings' first goal Monday.
Goals usually are hard to come by for the Kings, but Penner had good reason for his forgetfulness.
"That was a long time ago," he said with a smile.
As he sifted through all of the Kings' goals - there were five of them - Penner remembered how he set up Mike Richards' score 31 seconds into the Western Conference semifinal playoff game.
The Kings scored four first-period goals and blasted the St. Louis Blues 5-2 in front of a sellout crowd of 19,366 at the Scottrade Center. The Kings debuted their offensive swag party so much it was almost laughable.
